Privacy
Short version: we play records, not games with your data. The long version is short too.
What we collect
THE TOP is a static site. Browsing it doesn’t require an account and doesn’t ask you for anything. The only data that reaches us is what you choose to send through a form:
- Requests — the record you ask for. No name, no email, no “where’s it from.” Just the song.
- Contact — your name, email, and message, so we can write back.
- SongRank — your rating and the track that was playing when you gave it. The track identity comes from the now-playing feed, not from you.
Where it goes
Form submissions are delivered to the station operator by email, through Resend. We use them to run the request line and answer you — nothing else. We don’t sell them, we don’t build profiles, and we don’t hand them to advertisers.
The usual server basics
The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard, short-lived request logs (IP address, browser, timestamp) to serve pages and keep abuse off a public endpoint that sends mail. That’s infrastructure, not tracking — there’s no advertising cookie and no cross-site profile here.
Reaching us
Want your contact message and our reply deleted, or have a question about any of this? Use the contact form and say so — we’ll take care of it.
